2020 Reading & Leeds Festivals Canceled Due to COVID-19

The 2020 Reading & Leeds Festivals have been canceled due to COVID-19. “We want to extend our gratitude to our teams, artists, and partners who work so hard each year,” a statement reads. “And to our fans, we’re nothing without you—we thank you for your continued support and understanding.” In addition, organizers said that ticketholders for the 2020 festivals have the option to retain their ticket for the 2021 edition.Find the statement below.

The twin events were scheduled to take place August 28—30 in Reading and Leeds, England. On the bill for this year’s festivals were Stormzy, Migos, Rage Against the Machine, Liam Gallagher, slowthai, Run the Jewels, Denzel Curry, Fontaines D.C., and many others.
